The New York Knicks Three Leading All-Time Scorers


The recipient of a bachelor's degree in business management from Ithaca College, Scott Paston is an experienced insurance executive who serves as president of Simon Paston & Sons Agency in Lynbrook, New York. Outside his professional pursuits, Scott Paston is a fan of the National Basketball Association's New York Knicks.

Seven players have recorded at least 10,000 points as a member of the New York Knicks. Below are the three leading scorers in franchise history:

1. Patrick Ewing - Also the franchise leader in games (1,039), blocks (2,758), and rebounds (10,759), among other categories, Ewing leads all Knicks with 23,665 points. The 57 year old was selected first overall by the Knicks in the 1985 NBA Draft and played 15 seasons with the team. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008.

2. Walt Frazier - Selected by New York fifth overall in the 1967 NBA Draft, Frazier recorded 14,617 points through 10 seasons with the team. The seven-time All-Star and two-time NBA champion was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987.

3. Willis Reed - Another Hall of Fame inductee, Reed spent his entire 10-year career with the Knicks from 1964 to 1974 and accumulated 12,183 points. He was a seven-time All-Star and two-time NBA Finals MVP.
